A beating heart

Bmp: beats per minute. The heart of Salvador Sobral (Lisbon, 1989), wounded and healed, continues to pump music with sentiment. His bmp -a measure of health-, the title of his most recent recording; it is in optimal health and musically fantastic.

Renewed. The music of Salvador Sobral has a new identity. A new atmosphere. New color. For the first time it includes the guitar. But the emotions remain. The scars of his soul -and the physical, as well, he is out of focus on the album cover- continue to throb in an emotive Cd in which the singer and composer reveals his fears, yearnings, his happiness….

Accompanied by a quartet, Salvador Sobral returns, his heart beating, more human than ever.
