Ciclo Diálogos Concertantes

For the third consecutive year, the Teatro de la Maestranza presents Diálogos Concertantes” a series of three concerts in the Sala Manuel García with some of the best chamber musicians in Europe.

The basis of music is dialogue, and its essence is found in chamber music. The present edition of the Diálogos Concertantes series is a collaboration between the theatre and the Barenboim-Said Foundation. The same formula is repeated after the favourable response of the Seville audience: top level musicians engage directly with the audience. The result is a unique aesthetic experience created by the dialogue between the musicians, the singularity of the repertory, and the privilege of proximity with the music and artists who make it possible.

The Sala Manuel García will be the scenario for three dialogues led by professors of the Academy of the Foundation. Prestigious international names will make the most of these concerts as an opportunity to play together with a complicity that is a joy when shared with the audience. Musical conversations that confirm the commitment of our theatre to chamber music and a versatility of programmes which include different genres in a variety styles.
