Winds of change
The third season of the series Rasgando el silencio (Breaking the silence) which gives visibility to women composers excluded by a History of Music, written and overwhelmingly dominated by men, brings us a new sequence of five concerts programmed by the directors of this project, pianist Carmen Martínez-Pierret and cellist Israel Fausto. By the time the series concludes, we will have discovered the work of 60 female composers.

Alejandro Bustamante
Since his debut as a soloist, his sensitivity, capacity to connect emotionally with the audience, and the honesty and integrity of his interpretations have made this young violinist one of the most acclaimed of his generation. He stands out equally as a soloist, in chamber music repertoire with different ensembles, and as a recital performer.

Francesco Tosco
During his orchestral career, he has worked with relevant directors on the international scene and performed with many professional Italian orchestras. His great passion is the contemporary music repertoire of the 20th and 21st century.

Israel Fausto
Recipient of prestigious national and international awards, he is considered one of the Spanish cellists with most international projection. As a result, there are invitations to regularly take part in important chamber series and theatres of today’s musical scene. An interpreter of great versatility, his wide repertory extends from Baroque to contemporary music.

Patricia Arauzo
The intensity, power and honesty with which she approaches each work are some of the distinctive characteristics of this pianist. Professor of piano at the Conservatorio Superior of Sevilla, she has a distinguished international career as a soloist and in chamber ensembles. Member of the Trío Alborada, her artistry has been backed with numerous awards.
