Music on the Far Side

It appears that during the most recent trip to the moon, human beings were able to see what’s happening on the far side of the satellite. Yet another frontier where our knowledge, in its ambition to travel further, has been surpassed. Down here on the day- to-day of planet Earth, music continues to break through barriers and encounter the hidden side of people by establishing bonds and strengthening communication which help us share feelings and communicate emotions.

For the Fundación Goñi y Rey, education is a powerful tool to forge freer people who can contribute to a better society. In this line, it provides institutional support to Proyecto LUNA (Lenguaje Universal para Niños Artistas / Universal Language for School-age Artists). This initiative dates back more than ten years, having connected with thousands of school children through music and the stage, as an instrument and channel for understanding.

The collaboration of schools, composers and librettists, conservatories and music schools unite in a collective process to set forth on a journey A toda vela (at full speed). With music as its motor, a shared horizon to discover, and the result performed on the stage of the Teatro de la Maestranza.

Music that transcends all barriers.
