Enjoying the Adventure
Two artists from Granada. Two friends. Two competing genres with a shared complicity. The flamenco singer Marina Heredia and the soprano Mariola Cantarero join forces in this show. They have already shared unexpected moments with their respective audiences on the television stage of Tierra de Talento and in one concert or another that dialogues between the most exacting traditions of Bel canto and Flamenco.
Showing the utmost respect to their origins, but with the certainty that -as Mariola Cantarero sustains- both genres are different sides of the “same coin”, they sing passionately: Mariola with guajiras. Marina with Neapolitan songs.
Two women free of ties. Marina has sung Falla. Mariola, who has triumphed around the world with Donizetti, has dared with “granainas”. The two have felt curiosity to cross over to the other side. To take the leap and embrace each others’ music. One thing is for sure: there is so much talent between the two that to witness them on this exciting adventure will be worth it in every way.
